A finance company decided to outsource their datacenter to Amazon Web Services to save money. As a regulated industry, the firm is required to be PCI Level 1 certified. The company was three months from their PCI Level 1 certification deadline when management realized their one year old Amazon Web Services migration was a failure and not salvageable.
Compounding the problem was the fact the company had not performed a required security upgrade for PCI certification on their current IT infrastructure in lieu of the Amazon migration. They now had three months to pass a full PCI Level 1 audit, or face a complete loss of revenue as their merchant status would be revoked upon audit failure.
We were able to work with PCI auditors as we implemented a complete network and security upgrade in less than three months. The Client passed their PCI audit on time and continued growing.
